Hearts

Hearts is an "evasion-type" trick-taking card game for four players. The aim of the game is to score fewer points than all of your opponents. The winner of the game is the player whose score is lowest when any player exceeds 100 points.

Play Hearts campaigns against the computer players in our take on this classic card game. Check your all time and session stats to see if you are improving over time. It takes real skill to beat the computer players with their perfect memory.

How Hearts plays:

At the end of each hand, the trick cards each player has collected are presented and totalled. The value of those trick cards are added to each player's total score.

Whoever is dealt the 2 of clubs plays this card to start. Each player must play one card in a clockwise order, following suit where they can. The winner of each trick is the player who plays the highest card matching the suit of the first player to play. If you cannot follow suit you can play any card from your hand, except on the first round you are not permitted to play a trick card. No player may lead with a heart until the first heart is played ('hearts are broken').

Want a quicker game? A new game mode of 'small hearts' has been added! Small Hearts is a quicker 28 card version, where the 2-7 of each suit is removed from the deck before playing. It plays the same way as Classic Hearts, but the Queen of spades is worth 7 points, shooting the moon gives 14 points to each opposition player, the starting card is the 8 of clubs and the game ends when the first player goes over 50 not 100 points.

Come gioca Hearts:

Alla fine di ogni mano, vengono presentate e sommate le carte trucco che ciascun giocatore ha raccolto. Il valore di quelle carte trucco viene aggiunto al punteggio totale di ciascun giocatore.

Chiunque riceve il 2 di fiori gioca questa carta per iniziare. Ogni giocatore deve giocare una carta in senso orario, seguendo l'esempio dove può. Il vincitore di ogni presa è il giocatore che gioca la carta più alta corrispondente al seme del primo giocatore a giocare. Se non puoi seguire il seme, puoi giocare qualsiasi carta della tua mano, tranne che nel primo round non ti è permesso giocare una carta trucco. Nessun giocatore può guidare con un cuore fino a quando non viene giocato il primo cuore ("cuori spezzati").

Vuoi un gioco più veloce? È stata aggiunta una nuova modalità di gioco di "cuoricini"! Small Hearts è una versione più veloce di 28 carte, in cui i 2-7 di ogni seme vengono rimossi dal mazzo prima di giocare. Gioca allo stesso modo di Classic Hearts, ma la Regina di picche vale 7 punti, sparare alla luna dà 14 punti a ciascun giocatore avversario, la carta iniziale è l'8 di fiori e il gioco termina quando il primo giocatore supera i 50 no 100 punti.
